After the great success of the Broken Wing Challenge. I thought we could start an online book club.
I don't about you but I've joined book clubs so that I can actually talk to someone about books. But it never fails when its my turn to pick a book for the upcoming month I usually pick a romance and then I get voted down or looked down upon since romance novels aren't "real literature" or at least that is what they tell me.Well, pooh-pooh on them. Who needs their stinking, high brow "real literature"! They can keep their literature and I'm going with the romance, the happily ever after and those steamy sex scenes! Let us all be SHAMELESS and flaunt our bodice rippers and heaving bosoms. Who's with me?!
The particulars:- One book per month. Must be a romance! ^_^
- A member of the club will choose the book for the month (order of choosing will be in the order of membership).
- Person choosing the book will host the discussion at the end of the month on their blog or this blog.
- Open to anyone who wants to join in for the fun and love of romance novels.
- Can do month to month membership (up to you whether or not you want to read the book. You can choose to skip the book of the month if its one that does not interested you.).
To join e-mail me the following information:
1. Screen name (what do you go by on the Blog-o-sphere)
2. Blog url (if you have one, if you don't it doesn't matter) so I link your blog.

I'm in, I think...depends on the book (sorry, I'm totally a picky PITA when it comes to books). Can I have a month-to-month membership?

I'll also be in on a month-by-month basis if that is OK Aymless? Sometimes I won't be able to get my hands on the book (it all depends what my library has) and my TBR list - if I'm overwhelmed with books then I may have to skip a month.

I am TOTALLY in!! It's so funny that I just came across your post because I was just visiting my library's website to see if they had a book club. They do but the upcoming books they are reading are so totally BORING! Who wants to read a book that makes you think, LOL! I want to be entertained! So count me in! I missed this months book, but next month's pick The Madness of Lord MacKenzie is one I really wanted to read. I will be there with bells on!
